Planning for the Afterlife
Islam encourages believers to constantly prepare for the afterlife, including practical measures like funeral planning. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised taking advantage of one's wealth and life to prepare for death. (Narrated by Ibn Abbas in Al-Hakim).
Responsibility and Self-Reliance
Islam places great emphasis on personal responsibility. By setting aside funds for one's funeral, an individual ensures that their family and community are not burdened with financial strain at a difficult time. The Quran advises Muslims to prepare for the future responsibly: "And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow" (Quran 59:18).
Planting the Seeds
Whilst we use the terms ‘investment’, ‘profit’ and ‘return’, these are for illustration purposes as the objective of this company is not be a source of profit for you but rather to make a fund available to your loved ones (planted by you) to help assist your funeral expenses.
Ease, Convenience for Family and Avoiding Debt
Being financially covered can bring peace of mind to one's family. This act of foresight can relieve emotional and financial stress, allowing family members to focus on the spiritual and emotional aspects of mourning and remembrance.
The Prophet (SWS) discouraged leaving unpaid debts. A funeral fund helps avoid placing this burden on others.
